"Pray for a demonic
stronghold, Jill or someone else"
Jill Hart, I am impressed with what you say you
are doing, praying over a demonic stronghold in a person.
It occurred to me today that my son may have a stronghold or
possession. I had not of it in exactly this way, but it
could be,
and I will recount what it is.
My first husband became a Muslim after we were divorced.
Later he was murdered by a "con man". The murder was when
my son was
about 13. We do not know all the exact date of death, as
his body was not found for three years, buried in a field.
For a couple of years, my son has been sending me daily or
almost daily articles in favor of Muslims and attacking
Christians whom he
thinks are unfair to Muslims. I sometimes send back mail
to show him that this has another side, but none of these things
have any
affect on him. He brings it up most of the time. He
never knew his father. They met once when my son was a
baby, that is all. It is
a sad story apart from this.
But now, could it be possible that some influence from beyond
the grave is coming to him? There is nothing in his
background which should
make him worry this much about Muslims. He says he detests
ALL religions, but he is always in favor of Muslims if he thinks
their rights are
being trampled by Christians, Jews, or any other group. He
has never been to a mosque, to my knowledge. He does know
a few things about
the Koran and Hadith, which he has read enough to quote from
them. He does have material written by his father, sent to
him by his uncle.
When you said you were battered, Jill, by dealing with this
"stronghold", I thought that I am indeed battered by this
situation. His main point
is that Christians have done every bad thing which is attributed
to Muslims, and that the Bible urges killing people for adultery
and other crimes
which are not usually death-penalty offenses in modern times.
His wife does not seem to know or care anything about
this. She is wholly occupied with the children. I
have asked my son how he would like
his wife to have to wear a burqua, and he says, at that point,
that he hates all religions.
I realize now, reading what you have done, that I have been
wrestling with some kind of stronghold. I will begin to
rebuke it in Jesus' name.
My son would not go to church or to a pastor's residence,
although there have been a few church people here who have
prayed for him.
God deliver my son from this craziness. I can't ask, Jill,
for you to wrestle with this, as your plate is full.
Perhaps someone else can suggest
what to do. His personality his quite a bit like his
biological father's, even though he did not know him. He
knows only his father's brother, who is a
Catholic and aghast at this nonsense.
