Hi all,
 
Would you please pray for two friends of mine, husband and wife, Mormons.
 
Unbeknown to me, she (Joan) has a very serious problem with alcohol.  In a
very recent event, she pointed a loaded gun at Tim after returning home drunk
Tuesday night.  Both are second marriages so there is residual baggage.  I am
not privy to all of the information, nor do I need to be.
 
Please pray that God will use what is going on here to lead them into a saving
knowledge of Christ.  If HE can use me, pray that HE show me.
 
As far as history goes; both are disenchanted with their 'church'.  The three of
us once had a good Bible study at our kitchen table.  She is very interested in
the Bible; hungry for truth.  He holds more to the LDS teachings, but hates the
organization.  My prayer is that God is actually uniting them in all of this mess,
preparing them for the truth.
 
Tim shared this with me just yesterday, and is talking divorce.  He doesn't want
divorce, but is frightened, as much for her well being as for his own.  He absolutely
adores Joan.
 
Tim asked me not to disclose this to anyone.  You are receiving this request
because you don't know these people and they don't know you.
