What a difference in how NPR (the world) looks at the Book of Revelation

 

and

 

How a Moody Bible Radio Program/Preacher looks at the SAME information!!!

 

 

I was scanning the radio sunday night for something to listen to on a 90 minutes drive home......and I was "led" to hear 2 programs, back to back, on 2  different channels....

 

but BOTH on the same subject.

 

First...NPR.....that "wonderful source of Godly information"  (lol....just kidding)

They had an author on who wrote a new book "Revelations" ?  On, duh, the Book of Revelation.  Piants herself as a Christian (though she regularly gets hate-mail from other Christians)  Hmmmmm.........   

 

She said John, the author of Revelation "was obsessed with war-time writings."  Again, Hmmmmm......

 

Anyway....NOTHING uplifitng in this radio program.....NOTHING.  She missed the WHOLE point of the End Times / Return of Christ / start of the Millenium....about which this Bible book was written.

 

Then......I tripped over a Moody Braodcast....and incredibly the subject...the Return of Jesus Christ...the Rapture....and the book of Revelation.

 

Wow.....POINT - COUNTER-POINT !!!!

 

I was much more inspired by the Moody broadcast.

 

MY POINT:  The world is MISSING OUT on understanding the times in which we live.  But the BELIEVERS in Jesus Christ...the TRUE Christians of our day.....the Christians who ARE TUNED IN to what is going on in this world.....we....have HOPE in the SOON RETURN OF JESUS Christ, starting with the Pre-Trib Rapture..

 

And the rest of the world.....will, unfortunately, be left behind......while we are at the Marriage Supper of the Lamb of God.....just like Jesus Said..... "I go to prepare a plave for you....and if I do that, I am certainly coming back for you...."  (paraphrase, from memory.)

BTW.......I got 35,000,000 hits on this search!!!!  Alot of people KNOW about this!!!

 

AND.........what about the parallel of the Jewish Feasts and Jesus Christ's first and second coming?

Just Google it.  Again,  34,000,000 hits.  Alot of people know THIS, too!! 

 

AND.....keeping in the spirit of Google-ing.....

 

google:  Rebirth of Israel and the return of Christ:     50,000,000 hits.  ALOT of people knwo THIS, too.

PS.......of course.....  I posted a photo on Monday (yesterday)  of an "end times sign" on the highway.  AS OF TODAY already.....he has CHANGED the bottom part of the sign.  (Apparently, he does this often....but I VIEWED it ona day when it mentioned the End Times......lol...I NEVER miss a GOOD SIGN!!)
