On Tuesday May 22, 2012 the new moon was sighted from Israel. The moon was first sighted:
*from Jerusalem by Nehemia Gordon at 7:54pm followed by Yoel Halevi, David Cachicas, Rick Busenbark, Aryeh Levi, Don Henderson, and Lilliana Herrera;
*from Kiryat Yam by David Varela and Emily Varela at 8:00pm;
*from Poriya Illit by Devorah Boer at 8:05pm.
