Dear Shelva,I think it is a lovely story and it reminded me of how I was taught to leave your knife touching the fork if you leave the table and intend to come back to finish eating. But, there is one problem with it, for, the Holy Bible says 'wrapped' not folded. We should also question wether there is scriptural evidence of Jesus doing such and there isn't.Rather more likely the angels which were ministering servants.Mark 1:13 Matt 4:11 The 'napkin' was a piece of fabric used specifically for wrapping around the face of the deceased. It was folded in a particular way.I saw a video on youtube demonstrating it.'Then cometh Simon Peter following him, and went into the sepulchre, and seeth the linen clothes lie' John 20'And the napkin, that was about his head, not lying with the linen clothes, but wrapped together in a place by itself'.'God choses the words wrapped to connect Jesus with ...Jonah
'Now the LORD had prepared a great fish to swallow up Jonah. And Jonah was in the belly of the fish three days and three nights' Jonah 1:17
'The waters compassed me about, even to the soul: the depth closed me round about, the weeds were wrapped about my head' Jonah 2:5'For as Jonas was three days and three nights in the whale's belly; so shall the Son of man be three days and three nights in the heart of the earth' Matt 12:40
There is no such word (folded) used in the Bible. God could have if he intended it.e.g. the word "fold' is used in this instance''And as a vesture shalt thou fold them up, and they shall be changed: but thou art the same, and thy years shall not fail.'Heb1:12. (Lazarus and Jonah a picture of Jesus in tomb /resurrection)And he that was dead came forth, bound hand and foot with graveclothes: and his face was bound about with a napkin. Jesus saith unto them, Loose him, and let him go' Jn 11:14'And this shall be a sign unto you; Ye shall find the babe wrapped in swaddling clothes, lying in a manger' Luke 2:12I am hoping all will be revealed soon..God Bless from Patsy
