"Steve Mullin Salvation and the unsaved"

Hi Steve
That is very interesting what you have pointed out about the whole family being saved. You did mention that you have a sister who did believe but is not born again.
First, I do not know for sure about families, but I do know the way a person is saved is to believe. What does this mean.

1Corinthians 15:1 Moreover, brethren, I declare unto you the gospel which I preached unto you, which also ye have received, and wherein ye stand;
1Corinthians 15:2 By which also ye are saved, if ye keep in memory what I preached unto you, unless ye have believed in vain.
1Corinthians 15:3 For I delivered unto you first of all that which I also received, how that Christ died for our sins according to the scriptures;
1Corinthians 15:4 And that he was buried, and that he rose again the third day according to the scriptures:

If a person believes that Jesus Christ died for his/hers sins and that he was buried and rose again from the grave, that person is saved!!

Once he/she believes this then what happens immediatley?

Ephesians 1:13 In whom ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that holy Spirit of promise,

So I think there will be a lot of family members that we will see in the rapture that we may not have realized were believers. Just because they are not watchers or because they do not wear their beliefs on their shirt sleeves does not mean they are not saved. God made it easy for us Gentiles and there is no other way except by faith alone.Look at the struggles Paul had. He realized that the sin he continued to do was no longer him but the sin that dwelleth in me(Paul and the rest of us)

Romans 7:17 Now then it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.
Romans 7:18 For I know that in me (that is, in my flesh,) dwelleth no good thing: for to will is present with me; but how to perform that which is good I find not.
Romans 7:19 For the good that I would I do not: but the evil which I would not, that I do.
Romans 7:20 Now if I do that I would not, it is no more I that do it, but sin that dwelleth in me.

Not complicated, not hard, It is God's way.

thanks
Mike W
