The word repent is so often used as a pre-requsite for salvation. How many times have you heard "repent from your sins and come to the alter and be saved"

 

OR "give your heart to Jesus today and be saved"

 

Repent means simply to "change your mind". A person who is trusting in his own works and not the works of Jesus must "change his mind" and believe in Jesus only.

Then he will be saved. If you are not trusting in Jesus and Him alone you will not be in the rapture.

 

John 3:18 He that believeth on him is not condemned: but he that believeth not is condemned already, because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God.

 

Sin does not condemn a person. UNBELIEF condemns a person.

 

Quit believing in false doctrines and believe the truth.
