"Holiness for sinners saved by grace, washed by the precious blood of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God"

Hello, John and Doves,

How do I acquire holiness for myself--a sinner saved by grace, washed by the precious blood of our LORD and Savior, Jesus Christ, who is the Lamb of God?

As always, the Bible has the answers:
"1How great is the love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him. 2Dear friends, now we are children of God, and what we will be has not yet been made known. But we know that when he appears,a we shall be like him, for we shall see him as he is. 3Everyone who has this hope in him purifies himself, just as he is pure."
1 John 3:1-3  NIV

Therefore, it is written,
"19Now the deeds of the flesh are evident, which are: immorality, impurity, sensuality, 20idolatry, sorcery, enmities, strife, jealousy, outbursts of anger, disputes, dissensions, factions, 21envying, drunkenness, carousing, and things like these, of which I forewarn you, just as I have forewarned you, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God. 22But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, 23gentleness, self-control; against such things there is no law."
Galatians 5:19-23  NAS

Lest it be thought that this selection is d'rash, it should be noted that these sets of verses are each a remez to the rest of their respective chapters--that you may know the P'shat (plain meaning) of the Holy Scriptures (the Tanakh and the B'rit Chadashah)
