Hello, John and Doves,
That's why the Rapture--all
of it--happens between successive moments in time.
How long does it take for
light to twinkle? It's the length of time between
the time it is "on" and the time it is "off."
That's no time at all. For that's what we see when
stars (and planets, and such) appear to twinkle.
The entire Universe will
stop, the Rapture will happen, then the whole Universe
will go on its merry way--a little bumpily at first, of
course.
It is written,
"The
Son is the radiance of God's glory and the exact
representation of his being, sustaining all things by
his powerful word. After he had provided purification
for sins, he sat down at the right hand of the Majesty
in heaven."

"Dead People at
the Mall"
If there is a delay between the Rapture of
the dead and the Rapture of the living, then what happens
to those Christians who die between the two
Resurrections? They will have died after the dead in
Christ rise, but already be dead when the living
rise.
