While I have a different “favorite” interpretation on this section of Revelation, your interpretation is also plausible.  I believe that not everything is spelled out in black & white ON PURPOSE in order to keep the enemy off balance.  A lifetime of study would still leave us infinitely short of fully understanding the Bible in this world.

 

Anyone who believes they have the Bible ALL figured out and says, “No you are wrong on this”, has an incorrect perspective.  Until the next world, we only get to see things through a cloudy glass.  We try as hard as we can to understand, but it is impossible to understand it all.
