Liz,  I agree with you 100%.  First of all when looking at the beginning of the verse It says he will not regard the God of his fathers we really don't know who or what god this is referring too.  It would be interesting to know.  If we knew more about O's father's religion maybe it might show us something.  I am going to do some research and try to put some pieces of the puzzle together in reference to the sexual principles.  I think this is a clue.   And with O making his statement endorsing same sex marriage is definitely a clue.  He is acting like he has no real religion.  Muslims don't believe in same sex marriage and neither do Christians or Jews.  He makes up his own beliefs.  Or maybe even honors his own so called god  "Satan".  I have heard all my life that the antichrist would be gay.  I think that this assumption has its root in this particular verse of Daniel chapter 11.  If Obama has his way this country will turn into Sodom and Gomorra.  If every state installs this same sex marriage law we need to look out.  Maybe time to head for the caves.
