Re: your vision of Jesus' face...my sweet Christian sister passed away in 1997 from breast cancer, and in her last few days in the hospital one of us was always with her. She was comatose for the last three days or so.

At one point when I was at her bedside loving on her and talking to her, I had this very real sense of a very thin veil to the right of me, with Heaven itself pressing against the other side. Mind you, I didn't "see" anything, but it felt as if we were surrounded by our Blessed Hope, ready to welcome this child of God into the Kingdom.
