Gino,Good question. Whether Sunni or Shiite Muslims, both regard the false god Allah. With respect to Daniel 11:37 "nor regard ANY god", it wouldn't be possible for the AC to be a true believer of Islam. However, some would assert that radical Islam is more of a socio-political movement than a religion so he could certainly be an Islamic-like mouthpiece. I believe Daniel depicts a person who may also pay any and all religions lip-service to gain advantage but will be incapable of acknowledging any authority other than himself.
