"Finding Day X on the big and small countdown"


 
Dear Doves

We are currently running down two important countdowns:

Big Countdown: Jubilee, 49 years (360 days / year)
June 7. 1967 -> Sept. 23. 2015

Small Countdown: Omer Count, 50 days
April 8. 2012 -> May 27. 2012

Now imagine the following:
Draw two horizontal lines of the same length below each other. The upper one for the Big Countdown, and the lower one for the Small Countdown. Each one with its Start/End date at the Left/Right end of the line.

The question I asked myself: at which position can you draw one VERTICAL line between the two lines, that lands on the EXACT same date on both lines?

Or, in other words, you have to find the solution for the variables "x" and "DayX" for the following two equations:

June 7. 1967 + x*360*49 days = DayX
April 8. 2012 + x*50 = DayX

This equals:

June 7. 1967 +x*49*360days =  April 8. 2012 +x*50days

As the difference between June 7. 1967 and April 8. 2012 is 16377 days, it can also be written as follows:

April 8. 2012 -16377 +x*49*360days = April 8. 2012 + x*50days

Using simple linear algebra, this can be simplified and tranformed as follows:

x*49*360 = x*50 -16377

And the solution for that equation is:

x = 16377/17590 = 0.931040364

And finally we find DayX:

DayX = April 8. 2012 + 16377/17590*50 days
DayX = April 8. 2012 + 46.5520182 days = May 24. 2012.

May 24 is Month 5, Day 24 in our pagan calendar. Genesis 5-24 is the exact Verse Enoch gets raptured. Coincidence?
