"Pentecostal
Themes Associated with Shavuot (Pentecost)"
Dear Doves,
Sorry I made the following
mistake. Sivan is month three of the Scriptual Year, not six. My
thanks to Doug Corley for noticing my error.
Shavuot (Pentecost) may
combine many themes this year. According to the Hillel Calendar,
there are two Pentecost days from sunset Israel on 5-26 until
sunset on 5-28., Sivan six and Sivan seven. Within Pentecost are
Pentecostal themes of Divine Wedding and Marriage for Israel and
for Church, conclusion of 50 days (reminding us of the Year of
Jubilee), barley ended and wheat beginning , the BRIDGE or
crossing over from first fruits barley grain to the other first
fruits grain of the wheat, barley is associated with
Messiah/Christ and His Bride of the Ages, wheat is associated
with the saints of the tribulum, The Book of Ruth and The Book
of Acts and The Book of Revelation, dispensations of Law or
Grace, the departure of The Restrainer (the Apostacia of the
bride/body), two witnesses appear and begin to witness,
outpouring of the Spirit again with miraculous signs and wonders
to amaze (earlier at Mt. Sinai and Jerusalem) with the sealing
of the 144,000 (12 tribes of the House of Israel x twelve
thousand), The Season of The Song of Songs ( romance, love, and
marriage between one man/groom/husband and one woman/bride/wife.
I am eagerly awaiting the days ahead. Come quickly, Lord...
Behold the bridegroom cometh!
With Love and Shalom,
Jean
