Isn't it interesting, that a weekly series, golf show, on the Golf Channel, which is in it's 7th, maybe it's 8th season (or more, not really sure, I don't watch or follow this particular show....but I do watch the Golf Channel) is called "Big Break: Atlantis? 

The names of these shows have been, in the past, I'm pretty sure, been named for the location from which they were filmed. I just find it very interesting that the powers who run the Golf Channel, which was purchased by the huge telecommunications/mass media mega-corporation, Comcast in 2007, would choose to name this season's "Big Break" .......Atlantis. 

Coincidently, or not, the Golf Channel was founded in 1995, by a businessman/entrepreneur named Joseph E. Gibbs, along with a partner he chose, the most recognizable and famous professional golfer, before Tiger Woods, a man named Arnold Palmer. What is significant about Arnold Palmer being a founder of a golf network that is seen around the world, 24/7......and whose first telecast was a tournament in, of all places, Dubai, United Arab Eremites? Arnold Palmer is a 33rd Degree Freemason.

The Golf Channel has, in large part, been a major influence and factor in the development of a  "world golf tour" scenario over the last decade, or so, where players from all over the world, now play all over the world, i.e., they are rapidly moving towards a World Tour tournament system. The subtle move to merge existing independent tours and players from those tours, took a huge step forward a few years ago, with the inception of the "World Golf Championships" .....a series of exclusive tournaments with invitees being selected and invited to comete from the "Official World Golf Rankings" points system. 

Even in the small world of professional golf, with much help from a famous 33rd Degree Freemason, named Arnold Palmer, they are rapidly moving towards a "one world" system.....i.e., professional golf tour.

So, is it merely a coincidence that this season's ....(in the year 2012) "Big Break" golf series show was named "Atlantis".....?
