Your points are entirely correct regarding fullness and a gentile/church perspective.  Also, don’t forget messianic Jews. 

 

Still, Israel is “god’s timepiece.”  The removal of the church and the end of the age of Grace, initiates a countdown which will complete Old Testament prophecy.  To link the timing of the events makes sense.

 

So an event which follows Jewish tradition would be a wake-up call. When the church is removed and judgment falls, Revelation indicates there is no doubt on the part of those remaining where the judgment is coming from.

 

Finally, if the rapture happens in the season of ascension and Pentecost, would you agree that is also “Church” timing?
