        Thank you for writing that. Some years back I thought that my duty was to observe as many news headlines as I could, thinking that I was somehow hastening the blessed hope by so doing, and that the Lord would be well pleased by my voracious appetite for news observation, as it related to Bible prophecy.
    When all along, I should have, as you indicated, been broken before the LORD Jesus, grieving/confessing/repenting as to my own unholiness, knocked on my face by the realization of his holiness, and beseeching the LORD for mercy for those around me who do not know him yet, especially if it has been my fear or slothfulness that has kept the gospel away from them.
