Hello Jill,  I forward your post to a couple of pastor friends of mine and they seem to disagee.  One has written to me and asked me to send you this note.  I did write back to him and ask that if Obama has been heard saying, "Be still and know I am God", then, how can one continue to pray for his salvation???  He has elevated himself to the position of God and seems to be a clear indication that he thinks he is above God.  But Jill, I promised to forward this on to you so here it is.  If you feel you want to respond, I will forward it onto them.  gerlinda
 
 
 
Hi Gerlinda, in reference to the note from Jill(elections will fix it all,eh?). She made a statement" The Holy Spirit told me specifically, that praying for our leader and country would do no good at this point,....." I disagree!!!! The Holy Spirit would NEVER go against The Word. She needs to read 1 Tim. 2:1-2,Rom. 13:1-7,1 Jn. 4:1-4 and 1 Thess. 5:21. Please send these verses on to her. Thanks, Don
