"Homosexual church debate."

The debate about whether there is such a thing as a homosexual church is not a difficult one to answer when you look into the Word of God without bias or prejudice. The Word is very clear about the issue of homosexuality, sodomy, lying, idolaters, fornicators, revilers etc... Each and every one of these and others are sin. " For He made Him who knew no sin to be sin for us, that we might become the righteousness of God in Him. Righteousness is HIs way of doing and being right. Jesus was not a Sodomite, homosexual or anything like that because in His day homosexuality was never misunderstood to ever be righteous.   Church is a gathering of not so perfect people, with perhaps every type of sin being committed, yet hopefully always being led by the leader on how to overcome, by grace,  sin and live righteously. To have a church that condones a behavior that is clearly sinful without leading them to overcome by grace shouldn't be called a church. Whether that sin is gossip, slander, etc. There shouldn't be any Gossip Church or Slander Church or Homosexual church only Christ-like loving churches.

Was Jesus ever tempted to be homosexual? Now that is an interesting question and not so easily answered. Heb 4:15 For we do not have a High Priest who cannot sympathize with our weaknesses, but was in all [points] tempted as [we are, yet] without sin.  He was tempted outwardly with sin, but had no latent desire to sin because He was inwardly holy. By being outwardly tempted He could sympathize with every weakness that humanity might feel and relate to the outward pressure to sin in general without being  tempted with each specific sin. When He went to the cross He became fully aware of the consequence of  sin with every strip that was laid on His back, and the ultimate feeling of separation from the Father when on the cross He cried out "My God, My God, why have you forsaken Me".

Homosexuality, sodomy and all other sin should not be the focus. The focus should be to walk like Jesus. With that in mind we can conclude that we should love the sinner, no matter what the sin, and say as Jesus said to the woman caught in adultery "Neither do I condemn you; go and sin no more.". Lead the sinner to Christ with love and compassion.

Concerning the website: http://www.gaychristian101.com/without-natural-affection.html. Arguing from the term "without natural affection" as proof that the Bible doesn't condemn homosexual behavior is a typical debate tactic to try to switch you from focusing on what is really being discussed by these scriptures. Once you read this scriptures below the question about how God views homosexual behavior or sodomy will be crystal clear.

Ge 19:5  And they called to Lot and said to him, "Where are the men who came to you tonight? Bring them out to us that we may know them carnally."

Le 18:22  ‘You shall not lie with a male as with a woman. It is an abomination.

Le 20:13  ‘If a man lies with a male as he lies with a woman, both of them have committed an abomination. They shall surely be put to death. Their blood shall be upon them.

De 22:5 ¶  "A woman shall not wear anything that pertains to a man, nor shall a man put on a woman’s garment, for all who do so are an abomination to the LORD your God.

De 23:17  "There shall be no ritual harlot of the daughters of Israel, or a perverted one of the sons of Israel.

Jud 19:22 ¶  As they were enjoying themselves, suddenly certain men of the city, perverted men, surrounded the house and beat on the door. They spoke to the master of the house, the old man, saying, "Bring out the man who came to your house, that we may know him carnally!"

Ro 1:26  For this reason God gave them up to vile passions. For even their women exchanged the natural use for what is against nature.

Ro 1:27  Likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust for one another, men with men committing what is shameful, and receiving in themselves the penalty of their error which was due.

1Ti 1:10  for fornicators, for sodomites, for kidnappers, for liars, for perjurers, and if there is any other thing that is contrary to sound doctrine,

1Co 6:9 ¶ Do you not know that the unrighteous will not inherit the kingdom of God? Do not be deceived. Neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor homosexuals, nor sodomites,
