Dan 11:37

Neither shall he regard the God of his fathers, nor the desire of women, nor regard any god: for he shall magnify himself above all.

 

Over the years many have interpreted this passage in various ways.  One line of thinking said the phrase “nor the desire of women” meant the ac must be homosexual.  The second line of thinking said the phrase was from a Jewish woman’s perspective of desiring to mother the messiah.  I’d like to offer a third possibility.  I had hoped someone else would have already picked up on this so I am a bit pessimistic that I’m the only one thinking this.

 

From a young child most women dream of their wedding day.  Is this not the desire of women?  For the first time in US history we have a president of the United States saying that marriage is proper and appropriate for same sex couples.  That pretty well dashes the traditional desire of women doesn’t it?  I also have to wonder if Mr. Obama’s next move will be an executive order striking down and over-riding state constitutions against same sex marriage citing civil rights.  So much for my states recent NC vote.  I view the timing of Obama’s “coming out of the closet” with his opinions just days after NC’s vote as very odd as well as the boldest sign yet of where this man intends to take this country.  This is a HUGE mark on the man.  I also find it odd that his statement follows so closely behind Mathman’s April 11th date.
