To Paul N. F. re: "THOSE NATIONS ONLY
ARE BLESSED WHOSE GOD IS THE LORD"
As we’ve noted the culture of the US is moving at lightening
speed in a direction that is against God's values. Most of the
early settlers in the US, especially the generations that fought
the war and formed the government and lived and believed the
ideals put down in the constitution believed and lived for God.
They put God first and enshrined Him in the government and in
the constitution, on the currency and in the courts, the schools
and institutions. For the first 150 years the people and their
government leaders openly prayed to God in these government
buildings, courts, schools and institutions. They prayed for
blessings and protection and received it in abundance. During
this time God is found everywhere: in congress, in the White
House, in the Supreme Court, in every state government, in
schools, universities, parks and monuments. The separation of
church and state meant the state would stay out of the church
but that the church would be in the state. The evidence for this
is documented in hundreds of thousands of archives, files,
books, congressional minutes and historical writings. About 80
years ago a myth began to develop that the founders meant the
separation of church and state was that not only would the state
stay out of the church but that the church would also stay out
of the state. One small problem was how to get rid of all the
mountains of documented evidence all across the country stating
otherwise. The solution was simple – just ignore it and hammer
into each new generation the myth and overtime it will become
truth. Abraham Lincoln knew what the result of this could be and
would have dreaded to see the day.
