"Bible Prophecy &
The Homosexuality Thread"
Readers -
My guess is that soon Tng will close the Homosexuality Thread,
but I am so glad he has left it open to discussion this long.
many excellent posts have been written (and hopefully read)
explaining God's Word's clear declarations on this topic. God
calls people out of Egypt: Homosexuality, murder, thieving,
lying, drunkenness, etc. Read Galatians 5.
Bible Prophecy sites, such as the Five Doves, serve very useful
and spiritual functions. One of which is to address the issue of
the Judgment of God that is coming to this planet, why it is
coming and how to avoid it!
God hates Sin because Sin destroys everything it gets close to,
then sets off a ripple effect that is hard to control,
continuing to destroy everything in it's path.
Sin never asks for anything at the beginning. Why? you can't
catch bees with vinegar, you catch them with honey. Once
succumbed to, Sin takes EVERYTHING, and then wants more - not
being satisfied until the person is a burnout charred heap on
the side of the road, and their family, and their health, and
their finances, and their church, and their future etc.
Sin also does a most heinous thing. It twists sound Bible
doctrine and theology to it's own ends. Even Christian people
who say they know their BIble will work hard to twist Bible
doctrine in their own minds and hearts to commit known sin, and
also once sin is succumbed to, they keep twisting it. They have
to to be able to sleep at night, so they keep working the
problem to support their habit, like a drug addict - but it
never works. God won't let it work. He who keeps Israel never
slumbers not sleeps. He keeps calling to them to come back out
of Egypt....but time is running out. That's another role of
Bible Prophecy. it warns people.
Thank God for sites like this one where sound Bible Doctrine is
being proclaimed on some important issues, not just Bible
Prophecy.
Also - Thank God that He loves people enough to send His Son,
send His Spirit, send His Word, and send people forgiveness when
they fall and repent!
