"1 Thessalonians 4:16, and The "Lord""

Readers  -

This verse

1 Thessalonians 4:16
"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:"

has something about it that I have never noticed in any other verse - but, I can't say I've been looking for it either, but I do see it here.

This is verse Bible number 29620. (2962 x 10)

The subject of the verse is the "Lord".

This word is Strong's greek number

    2962

Thus, the Bible verse number matches the Strong's number of the subject of the verse. It's obvious it could only happen a few times with Jesus as the Strong's number for the Lord's names or titles are fixed.

Lord = 2962g

Jesus = 2424g

Christ = 5547g

Notice that in Mark 1:24 that a similar thing happens:

"Saying, Let us alone; what have we to do with thee, thou Jesus of Nazareth? art thou come to destroy us? I know thee who thou art, the Holy One of God."

this is Bible verse 24240.

Jesus = 2424g.

too perfect! exact match.

Jesus is Lord.
