I don't post often but did want to respond to your post about your friend Mark. I enjoy your posts because they are balanced, humble, hopeful, and make me laugh most of the time. You express well the feeling that many of us have that the time for Jesus to return just has to be near, even though we don't know how it will all happen just yet. I have prayed for Mark and his family--that their faith will not fail, and that he will be healed from this illness. A good friend of mine was just diagnosed with advanced cancer, too, a lovely Christian woman who I am also praying for. But we know that He is faithful, and I love your reminder about the song--truly, it is well with our souls because we know Him and have experienced His abiding love.
