I hope this will help you somewhat. Just ponder over this scenario...The greatest time for the Church to reap the greatest harvest on the earth is when Christ Himself comes to be JOINED together in physical immortality with His Body or Bride on Rapture day! ( He is still only the "HEAD" at this point in heaven ). The Rapture event may be more than what many had thought ( and taught ) it to be...( The Bible says in 1Cor.8:2, "And if anyone thinks he knows anything, he knows nothing yet as he ought to know" )

The Rapture event itself could be the manifestation of the true sons of God ( Romans 8:19 - 23 ) and the glory of the Lord arising upon His people ( Isaiah 60:1-3 ) all rolled up in one event in the twinkling of an eye where those who are alive and remain will be changed from mortality to immortality in an instant!! ( 1Cor.15:52 & 53 ).

Have you ever wondered why when the Lord was resurrected and remained on the earth for 40 days, He did not do any mighty works and appearing to sinners and the rest of the unsaved world but only appearing a few short times to his disciples and believers when he could have performed even more miracles and supernatural acts to the masses in His glorified form? It could be that He had a very good reason, otherwise why waste 40 days doing nothing when so many more could be reached and saved by His supernatural appearing to them.

The answer could be because He knew that at that stage, He was still only the "HEAD" ( firstfruit of the firstfruits ) and He had to wait for His Body or Bride to be joined to Him in immortality first! The Rapture event also signifies that joining together of the "head" and "body" which will then become that "PERFECT MAN" that the Bible talks about in Ephesians 4:13! ( till we all come to the unity of the faith and of the knowledge of the Son of God , to a "perfect man", to the measure of THE STATURE OF THE FULLNESS OF CHRIST )

When that happens, it could be that the 40 days that was left undone during His resurrection would now be fully fulfilled upon the entire earth and many many more will be saved and snatched into His kingdom before the great tribulation begins!! However, these works could be entrusted to only the "few" eventhough many are called, so the rest of them who had also been changed may have to wait in the clouds for that 40 days. Also, according to the parable of  the great supper, God's servants will only be targeting to reach and appear to those in the "highways', lanes and by-ways which should mean the poor, homeless, hungry and sick peoples of the world at that time for them to just simply fill up the banquet hall! The rest who had previous invitations but made all kinds of excuses not to attend were left out in this move. ( even though they had a change of heart eventually )

So, all that you've been anticipating will come true but may not be in the way as many of us had been taught or had thought. Imagine a 144,000 chosen ones who have been immortalized ( sealed by God ) evangelizing the world's poorest and neglected parts for 40 days, being able to appear to people in any part of the world in an instant and performing greater works then what the Lord did while He was on the earth in flesh, as directed by God! Millions upon millions will be snatched from hell and added to His Kingdom in just a short 40 days before the Anti-Christ can even react! The acts in the book of acts will be dwarfed by this indeed and the Church Age will end in absolute Victory for the Church!! That's why He says he wants to come back for a Bride who is READY!!
