An answer to Songsol63's question concerning "Dead People at the Mall"

"If there is a delay between the Rapture of the dead and the Rapture of the living, then what happens to those Christians who die between the two Resurrections? They will have died after the dead in Christ rise, but already be dead when the living rise."

When Israel left Egypt "there was not one feeble person among their tribes". God healed them all. God delivered them from the bondage of sin and slavery and they walked out free. And they walked into the promised land on dry ground. The Jordan (death) did not touch them. The ark (Jesus) preceded them by 2000 cubits (years).

I don't think anyone who is 'in Christ' will be dying while the resurrected Lord Jesus is with us.

Step 1: Arrival of the Lord Jesus and resurrection of the 'dead in Christ'
  ... unspecified interval (9 days?) ...
Step 2: Transformation of the living
Step 3: All caught up together to a meeting in the air

Either "he that believes in Me, though he were dead, yet shall he live" or "whosoever lives and believes in Me shall never die".
