"Re: Royal Wedding..."
I've been out of town, so I haven't been
able to post my thoughts on this issue...But from what I've seen, I
must say, I was totally blown away by the fact that the 'wedding' was
actually a very short part of the 'service' (I went to bed when they
went back to 'sign papers'. I was completely and pleasantly shocked
that what I was seeing and hearing was CHURCH!! I even had a naughty
chuckle to myself that Elton John and his 'partner' had to (or should
have been) uncomfortable hearing that THIS, the union of ONE MAN
& ONE WOMAN was what MARRIAGE IS. I loved the comparison to this
union as the relationship that Christ has with His Bride, the Church.
LOVED IT!
I also LOVED the fact that what I witnessed was a 'love match'. I saw
the cute smile that Harry had when he sneaked a peek at his future
sis-in-law...it was lovely.
I pray for these kids, I know they are puppets in a grand play...as are
so many people of prominence in politics today. But as for the service?
THAT is what a WEDDING should be.
Blessings~
