"Re: Susan in Aussie Land"
Dear Susan,
I will be brief. As you correctly said, there is only one way to escape
your attackers: prayer. I do join you in prayer and remind you that
Paul in Ephesians instructed us to call to God and to be as prepared as
we can be to stand in the time of trials. I would like to join you in
praying and provide a few simple words below.
Ephesians 6:12-18 (New International Version, ©2011)
12 For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the
rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world
and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms.
13 Therefore put on the full armor of God, so that when the day of evil
comes, you may be able to stand your ground, and after you have done
everything, to stand. 14 Stand firm then, with the belt of truth
buckled around your waist, with the breastplate of righteousness in
place, 15 and with your feet fitted with the readiness that comes from
the gospel of peace.
16 In addition to all this, take up the shield of faith, with which you
can extinguish all the flaming arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the
helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of
God.
18 And pray in the Spirit on all occasions with all kinds of prayers
and requests. With this in mind, be alert and always keep on praying
for all the Lord’s people.
PRAYER FOR SUSAN
Dear heavenly Father look down and into Susan's heart and know that she
wants to be close to You and to be protected from the evil that attacks
her in the form of anxiety.
Dispel the anxiety she feels and please let her resume a more normal
life. Your nature is love and compassion and we praise Your name in
thanksgiving for the great help that You provide in our daily lives
here on earth as we await being with You in heaven.
Please let Susan experience the joy and peace that only You can provide
for those who call on Your wonderful name.
We thank You for hearing these simple words of prayer and know You will
do what ever is best for us, as You always do.
Amen.
