"a book for kids about heaven"
I just finished a book called “Heaven for
Kids” by Randy Alcorn and I would recommend it to parents and Sunday
school groups. While it uses the NLT bible for it’s verses (should have
used the NKJV or NASB which are literal and modern words) it does
convey things so kids will understand. I liked his other book “Heaven”
which is for adults and would be good for teens to read.
He mentions that while not sure sleep might happen up there. (It isn't
sinful to sleep so it would depend on if our bodies need it still. Adam
probably slept in Eden and we are not told if Jesus slept after the
resurrection but being man and
God it might be different for him than us.) If we do the dogs will have
to take turns sleeping with me I won’t have a bed big enough for them
and me.
