"just some thoughts"
Good Afternoon,
I found your website this week and I was reading your article about the
possibility of the Rapture being May 24, 2011. Interestingly
enough, I have been wondering if the Rapture might occur on Lag B Omer
(though I would not venture to guess what year). I don’t know
much about the jewish feast days or observances, only that Jesus will
most likely fulfill the Fall Feasts when He returns. Wanting to
learn more about when the feast days would occur this year, I googled
“jewish holidays calendar”…this was a few months ago. I came
across this website (floridajewish.com) and I saw a disclaimer at the
bottom of each calendar that said the following:
· All Jewish
holidays begin at sundown on the evening before the date shown.
· It is
traditional that no marriages or simcha events are held between
Passover and Shavout except on Lag B’ Omer. The same prohibition exists
three weeks prior to Tisha B’ Av.
I thought this was very interesting, but just filed it away.
After reading your comments today, it made me wonder again.
The problem though is that Lag B Omer is on 5/22/11 (Sunday), and not
the 24th. So that doesn’t fit with your observations.
Not sure what all this means, but I think it is good to share anyway.
Have a Bless Day!
Kelly
