I too greatly admire those poems of G.M. Hopkins. Thank you for sharing them.

Jan, I was wondering if you, or any of the Doves, know who wrote the lines :

" I see His blood upon the rose
And in the stars the glory of His eyes."

I saw those words back in my childhood and have never been able to find out who authored them in a poem.

If any of you know what poem that comes from, I would surely appreciate seeing the entire poem and knowing who the author was.
