I have fallen for many a internet conspiracy.
Remember how the Gulf of Mexico was going to explode because of the oil spill.
Numerous scientist put out very impressive and devastating theories.
Didn't happen.
Lots of us here are not familiar with the mechanics of space.
So we can be a bit gullible when some one comes along with a fancy theory and especially a date.
 
Like Dru's article above, you need to look into who is putting these things out.
Even then, like the Gulf thing, you can be led astray when it comes to "theories".
