after reading your interesting article, I noticed this about the verse 2 Kings 2:11

according to Biblewheel.com

total verse gematria = 3164

3164 = 113 x 28 !

this ties the Genesis 5:24 and 2 Kings 2:11 verses together in more way than one.

113 is everywhere. Enoch's grandson Lamech is 113 when Enoch is taken.

also

Enoch is 7th generation from Adam

7th triangle number = 28

all triangle numbers through 28 total 84

Enoch Hebrew gematria = 84

this doesn't confirm your theory, but it does seem to tie the verse together numerically.  thematically they're all ready tied together as you point out.
