Dear Doves,

We cannot understand the 'timing' of the rapture UNTIL we understand who the TWO different groups of 'elect' are, and how the TWO groups of 'elect' are saved differently, and in which order the TWO groups are saved.

One group of 'elect' in Scripture is 'the remnant' of Israel who are referred to in Scripture as "THE elect" (ie. 'the remnant').
The other group of 'elect' in Scripture is 'His Church' who are referred to in Scripture as "HIS elect" (ie. 'His Church').

God loves BOTH "the elect" and "His elect".


THE FOLLOWING TWO SCRIPTURES ARE REFERRING TO 'THE REMNANT' WHO ARE "THE ELECT':

Matthew 24:22
"And unless those days were shortened, no flesh would be saved; but for THE ELECT'S (the remnant's) sake those days will be shortened."

Mark 13:20
"And unless the Lord had shortened those days, no flesh would be saved; but for THE ELECT'S (the remnant's) sake, whom He chose, He shortened the days."

These Scriptures tell us that 'the remnant' of Israel, who are "THE elect", are saved at the END of the "shortened" great tribulation. 'The remnant' is protected on earth throughout the time of God's wrath upon the earth right up to the 'Second Coming' of the Lord.

THE FOLLOWING TWO SCRIPTURES ARE REFERRING TO 'HIS CHURCH' WHO ARE "HIS ELECT':

Matthew 24:31
"And He will send His angels with a great sound of a trumpet, and they will gather together (rapture) HIS ELECT (His Church) from the four winds, from one end of heaven to the other."

Mark 13:27
"And then He will send His angels, and gather together (rapture) HIS ELECT (His Church) from the four winds, from the farthest part of earth to the farthest part of heaven."

These Scriptures tell us that 'His Church', who are "HIS elect", are saved by rapture. 'His Church' is removed from the earth throughout the time of God's wrath upon the earth right up to the 'Second Coming' of the Lord.
