As of 3-12-20, here are the statistics for the U.S.
U.S. population more than 330,000,000Coronavirus cases in U.S. 1600Coronavirus deaths in U.S. 40
The U.S. media is hyping this to the maximum, and many, many events have been cancelled, many schools and universities are out. No NCAA basketball tournament this year, etc. The number of cases of regular flu and deaths related to that are hugely higher every year, yet no events were ever cancelled for that! I went to the grocery store early this morning and could not believe what I was seeing, huge lines to the check-out lanes! And with all of this, many (but not all) of the coronavirus cases are mild, a few severe, and a few deaths.
So, what is going on? Clearly the media is hyping this up to the extreme. This pandemic is being presented to us as a GLOBAL problem, which it is. And global problems demand global solutions. We know the hour is late in these End Times, but we don't know when the Rapture will happen. It most certainly is coming, but we don't know when. IF (I said IF) the Rapture is near, then who would be coming on the scene immediately after the Rapture? Well, of course, the antichrist with satanic answers for global problems. These are just my thoughts this morning, but I thought I would share them. I guess it is just in my nature, having taught end time Bible prophecy for nearly 40 years (June of 1980 to June of 2020 will be the 40 years).
Now, what about Scripture relative to this coronavirus outbreak? We are told that BEFORE the Rapture there will be pestilence (plagues)------ Luke 21:11, and AFTER the Rapture the pestilence (plagues) will be even much worse involving a quarter of the earth------- Revelation 6:8. So, is this coronavirus outbreak now the event that will carry over to the Tribulation after the Rapture? Again, we don't know. But we do know from Scripture that the "generation" to see Israel's return as a nation (1948) will see all end time events fulfilled, and Israel will be 72 years old in May of this year. These end time events include the Rapture, the 7 year Tribulation Period, and the Second Coming of Israel's long rejected Messiah, who is Christ.

P.S. This coming Sunday morning I will be teaching at Church 52 on Brookville Road off of I-465 on the S.E. side of Indianapolis. I will be teaching both the 9:00 AM and 11:00 AM services. My topic? "Do we have any scriptural indications of what a 'generation' is?" And the answer is, yes we do, and I will go through the Scripture on this. But it is important to remember that we can never know the day nor the hour, nor the year of the Lord's return at the Rapture. But a general time period in history? Yes, and we are in that time period now!
P.P.S. If you are Jewish and you are reading this, here is the identity of our Jewish Messiah, Scripture written from around 1000 to 700 BC: Micah 5:2, Psalm 22:14-18, and all of Isaiah 53. Surprise! It was Him all along! Would you like to have eternal life after this life is over? It is only through Him, there is no other way! The decision is yours! The Bible (Old and New Testaments) presents a lot of Scripture on Jewish unbelief (and gentile unbelief too). John 15:25 (New Testament) states: "But they have done this in order that the word may be fulfilled that is written in their Law, 'THEY HATED ME WITHOUT A CAUSE.' " Romans 1:16 states: "For I am not ashamed of the gospel, for it is the power of God for salvation to everyone who believes, TO THE JEW FIRST and also to the Greek (gentile)." Acts 4:11 & 12 states: "He (Christ) is the stone which was rejected by you, the builders (Israel), but which became the very corner stone. AND THERE IS SALVATION IN NO ONE ELSE; FOR THERE IS NO OTHER NAME UNDER HEAVEN THAT HAS BEEN GIVEN AMONG MEN, BY WHICH WE MUST BE SAVED." And so, my Jewish friends, do you want to go to Heaven when your life here is over? Everyone will live forever, and there is only one Other Place to go to, and it is terrifying beyond human comprehension! You have free will and can go to Heaven, but sadly few will make the right decision------- Matthew 7:13 & 14.
