Genesis 7:11 In
the six hundredth year of Noah’s life, in the second
month, the seventeenth day of the month, the same day
were all the fountains of the great deep broken up,
and the windows of heaven were opened.
13 In
the selfsame day entered Noah, and Shem, and Ham, and
Japheth, the sons of Noah, and Noah’s wife, and the
three wives of his sons with them, into the ark;
16b
and the LORD shut him in.
Did not the LORD quarantine Israel on
Passover?
Exodus 12:21 Then
Moses called for all the elders of Israel, and said
unto them, Draw out and take you a lamb according to
your families, and kill the passover.
22 And
ye shall take a bunch of hyssop, and dip
it in the blood that is in the
bason, and strike the lintel and the two side posts
with the blood that is in the bason;
and none of you shall go out at the door
of his house until the morning.
23 For
the LORD will pass through to smite the Egyptians; and
when he seeth the blood upon the lintel, and on the
two side posts, the LORD will pass over the door, and
will not suffer the destroyer to come in unto your
houses to smite you.
Is there not a future quarantine?
Isaiah 26:20 Come,
my people, enter thou into thy chambers, and shut thy
doors about thee: hide thyself as it were for a little
moment, until the indignation be overpast.
Why, then, do I so easily forget to meditate
on the following, even when trouble is all around?
Proverbs 14:26 In
the fear of the LORD is strong
confidence: and his children shall have a place of
refuge.
Psalms 27:5
For in the time of trouble he shall hide me in his
pavilion: in the secret of his tabernacle shall he
hide me; he shall set me up upon a rock.
Psalms
143:9 Deliver me, O LORD, from mine
enemies: I flee unto thee to hide me.
