THE 'TRUMPET OF GOD' IN THE SCRIPTURES IS DEFINITIVE............

There are a total of sixty times that trumpets are spoken of throughout the Scriptures , but the 'TRUMPET OF GOD' is spoken of  ONLY in conjunction with THE RAPTURE EVENT WHEN THE LORD IS PRESENT according to the following three rapture Scriptures: : 

1 Thessalonians 4:16

"For the Lord Himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with THE TRUMP OF GOD and the dead in Christ shall rise first."

1 Corinthians 15:52

"In a  moment,  in the twinkling of an eye at THE LAST TRUMP for THE TRUMPET shall sound and the dead shall be raised incorruptible, and we shall be changed."

Matthew 24;30-31 ( Jesus speaking )

".....and they shall see the Son of Man coming in the clouds of heaven, and He shall send His angels with A GREAT SOUND OF A TRUMPET,  and they shall gather together ( rapture ) His elect...."

So there you have it : 

These three rapture Scriptures are the ONLY THREE  Scriptures in the Bible that are definitive about the 'Trumpet of God' being sounded WHEN THE LORD IS PRESENT. All of the other Scriptures that speak of trumpets being sounded do not define those trumpets as being 'THE TRUMPET OF GOD'.  Trumpets are being sounded on many occasions throughout the Scriptures other than the rapture event, but those trumpets are not described as the 'trumpet of God'.

Revelation 4:1 states, "The first VOICE which I heard was as it were of a trumpet TALKING with  me."  John said that he heard a VOICE TALKING , as it were a trumpet, not a trumpet sounding. 

The TRUMPET OF GOD is sounded ONLY  during the rapture when the Lord Jesus IS PRESENT.
