epidemiologist Marc Lipstich, said that "it's likely
we'll see a global pandemic" of coronavirus, with
40-70% of the world's population likely to be infected
this year.
Ira Longini, a
biostatistician and adviser to the World Health
Organization (WHO), has predicted that two-thirds of
the global population my eventually contract COVID-19.
Prof Gabriel Leung,
chair of public health medicine at Hong Kong
University, says if the transmission estimate of 2.5
additional people for each infected rate is accurate,
that would result in an "attack rate" that would
affect 60 to 80% of the world's population."
The conservative
percentage of 40% would result in 3.12 billion people
infected.
The high percentage of
80% would results in 6.24 billion people infected.
3.4% of 3.12 billion
is 106 million deaths.
3.4% of 6.24 billion
is 212 million deaths.
I have seen death
rates reported up to 20%, that would result in 624
million/1,248 million deaths for 40% and 80%,
respectively.
Where were the modern
day prophets warning us of this? I can't recall
any recent warnings of a worldwide pandemic.
(Please post a letter if you know of such
prophecies.) It seems many churches these days
have their own 'prophets'...did any predict
this? I've seen numerous prophecies in recent
years of tsunamis hitting the coasts, of earthquakes
splitting the U.S. in half, of a major earthquake
hitting the west coast. Prophecies predicting
economic collapse. Prophecies predicting
WWIII. But with this COVID-19, did we get
blindsided? Surely this would have been on
someone's radar? I certainly didn't see this
coming. No way was a pestilence of this
infectivity and lethality on my radar. I
certainly didn't expect this before the
Tribulation Period starts.
I believe the time for
evangelism has passed - with Billy Graham being the
last great world evangelist. What I've been
seeing since his death, are men of God warning
'judgment is coming'! David Reagan, Perry Stone,
and Franklin Graham come to mind.
As I've written
before, the birth pains are upon us...and this could
be THE pestilence that moves us right into the fourth
seal. There is no reason those seals can't be
opened in quick succession. Some people have
suggested that the first 4 seals will be opened before
the Tribulation starts - it's easy to see
all four horses in the world today, especially with
this COVID-19 pandemic now But,
I believe most people think all the seals are opened
during the Tribulation period.
Either way, the seals
will be opened, the horses will ride.
It's been said that
God does nothing without warning his people
first.
Jesus in Luke 21
warned us of coming birth pains. He lists them:
Nation will rise against nation, and kingdom against
kingdom, great earthquakes, famines, pestilences in
various places, and terrifying things and great
miraculous signs from heaven.
John in The Revelation
wrote about the fourth horse of the apocalypse, the
pale horse, bringing pestilence. One fourth of the
earth's population will be killed by sword, famine,
disease and wild animals. That's 1.95 billion
people.
These things were
predicted a couple of thousands of years ago.
We've been watching
the birth pains - the wars and rumors of wars, the
increase in major earthquakes, the huge famines, with
more famine coming with the HUGE locust swarms that
have hit in Africa, the Middle East, working their way
across to China now. And this novel coronavirus
pestilence that is just breaking out across the
world. We have not seen the "terrifying things
and great miraculous signs from heaven" - but they are
coming!
This novel coronavirus
is definitely panning out to be a pestilence...a
significant pestilence.
To me this is looking
more and more like an End Times pestilence.
Ezekiel 21:14, 15 is
about "The Lord's Sword of Judgment" "It is a
sword for slaughter - a sword for great slaughter,
closing in on them from every gate...So that their
hearts may melt and many may stumble...it is drawn for
slaughter." The number 19 in Strong's Hebrew
means "slaughter". (COVID-19)
And there may be an
even worse pestilence coming (some think this is a
nuclear attack), but it could be another disease:
Zechariah 14:12, 15,
16 speaks of a coming plague: And the Lord will
send a plague on all the nations that fought against
Jerusalem. Their people will become like walking
corpses, their flesh rotting away. Their eye
will rot in their sockets, and their tongues will rot
in their mouths.....This same plague will strike the
horses and mules, the camels and donkeys, and all the
animals in those camps. Then the survivors from
all the nations that have attacked Jerusalem will go
up year after year to worship the King, the Lord
Almighty, and to celebrate the Festival of
Tabernacles.
Many have thought this
plague was a nuclear 'incident', but it could be a
pestilence because the victims are like walking,
rotting corpses and animals are affected by the same
thing and the destruction of cities/infrastructure is
not mentioned along with this plague - just people and
animals.
There is obviously a
lot more coming!
The birth pains are
increasing!
