Satan wanting to be like God who is omnipotent, omnipresent and omniscient. Can only try to mimic such power. Modern technology may be a means that he can achieve these or some of these attributes to a degree. Through microchips, smartphones etc, he through man, can now track people, know intimate personal knowledge, habits, preferences, etc. I have heard that they can make pretty good predictions of our daily and future actions from past data collection. This gives Satan an omnipresence of sorts. Ultimately these microchips or like may also be able to determine when people are born and when they die, it may even by means of them affecting our biology. Again trying to mimic God’s omnipotence. We are getting close to that day, the power of these technologies could be more prominent during the tribulation, and may even be a way by which people worship the Beast.
