We now know that 34 BC was a Jubilee Year. When we count 1 Jubilee of 50 Years, from 33 BC, we arrive at the next Jubilee Year 17 AD. There's no Year 0. The Lord was 16 Years old in 1 AD, and started His public Ministry in 15 AD, when He was 30 Years old. The Lord conquered sin and death in a Jubilee Year in 17 AD.

From 17 AD, when we count off 30 Jubilees, we arrive at the Year 1517. From 1517, when count 8 Jubilees we arrive at the Year 1917. From 1917, when we count 1 Jubilee we arrive at the Year 1967. And finally, from 1967, when we count 1 Jubilee we arrive at the Year 2017.
