Doves,
It is written in Ecclesiastes 1:9 these words.....
9 That which has been is what will be,
That which is done is what will be done,
And there is nothing new under the sun.
I try to always take God's words literally, so if one reflects on what happened “biblically” in past biblical history there is a very good expectation of the same or a similar event happening in the future.
What I am getting at is this........ at the time of Jesus's resurrection from the dead He brought up with Him an unknown number of bodies / souls that were waiting for their redemption in what I believe is called Abraham's bosom. The bible says in Matthew 27:52 that.....
“the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints who had fallen asleep were raised; and coming out of the graves after His resurrection, they went into the holy city and appeared to many”
This “visitation” to loved ones happened in the 40 day period between the resurrection and when they arose (were caught up) with Jesus on Ascension day.
Might our “dead in Christ” relatives who are to be raised first during the rapture season / period.......... be paying us a visit sometime between Resurrection Sunday and the Ascension or Pentecost seasons this spring..... as was the case in Jesus's time?
Is that the day (Ascension day) when the big trumpet will blow calling us home or will it come 10 days later on Pentecost (which I proposed last week) which may be the date that closes out the church age? Either way..... I believe that we may very well have expected or unexpected visitors this spring. To me I expect this to happen. For most people this would be very unexpected and I suspect shocking.
So.... like the Jews that set an extra plate for Elijah at some of their dinner arrangements, we as Christians might want to consider doing the same. Some of us coming from large strong Christian families may want to have the local family buffet restaurants.....Golden Corral, China Buffet, etc...... on speed dial.☺
Blessings Doves.........John B
