And he shall confirm 1396 the covenant 1285 with many 7227 for one 259 week 7620: and in the midst 2677 of the week 7620 he shall cause the sacrifice 2077 and the oblation 4503 to cease 7673 , and for the overspreading 3671 of abominations 8251 he shall make [it] desolate 8074 , even until the consummation 3617, and that determined 2782 shall be poured 5413 upon the desolate 8074 .
After studying each word in the original language, this is a possible interpretation for this verse:
And he shall strengthen the covenant/pledge/agreement with many for one week: and in the middle of the week he shall cause the Passover and the meat offering to fail and at the wing of the detestable idol or abomination he shall cause horror and desolation, even until the end or completion, and that determined shall be poured or melted upon the desolated.
Sometimes the word wing is a metaphor for a high place, just as a winged bird flies high. In the Book of Isaiah we can find 5 statements by Satan that have come to be known as "The five I wills of Satan". The fifth of those five finds Satan stating "I will make myself like the Most High" (Isaiah 14:14 ). This very well could refer to Satan's presence through the Antichrist requiring worship.
To me, this could indicate that the “ice sculpture” that they are building of Obama is the detestable idol/abomination. He is riding into Jerusalem on the 10th of Nisan, just as Jesus did, and he is wanting to be worshiped. The fact that on this very same day, the Jewish people were planning (and are still planning) to sacrifice a lamb outside the Temple Mount is remarkable (to say the least). We’ll have to wait and see how all of this plays out, but it is my guess that the Jews will go ahead with their plans to TRY to sacrifice the lamb, but will be stopped due to “security reasons” with Obama in town. In this way, his visit to Jerusalem would be stopping the Passover sacrifice and causing worship of himself, and his image, on the same day.
But the Bible has much more to say about this event, and it all points to this week.

But when ye see the abomination of desolation standing where he ought not (let him that readeth understand), then let them that are in Judaea flee unto the mountains.Daniel 11:31 has a double fulfillment. It all started on the 6th day of Unleavened Bread 11 years ago when the Church of the Nativity (that looks like a fortress) was raided and desecrated and the “daily sacrifice” of communion was stopped. Now the second part of this verse is about to take place – again the sacrifice – this time the “Passover sacrifice” is going to be stopped and the next day Obama will visit the very same site, which is considered by many Christians to be the most holy place in the world - the place of Jesus’ birth, the Church of the Nativity. Jesus tells us that this event will include him “standing where he ought not” and that he would “stand in the holy place”. These events will take place on the first day of Spring and then the day before the Sabbath. I believe that this is why Jesus said to pray that it not take place in the winter (hint) or on the Sabbath (another hint).
Many people are asking me how this abomination can take place right now when we haven’t started the final 7 years of Tribulation. This is a big misunderstanding that has almost become Church doctrine. We must be careful to let God fulfill His Word in His way without making our preconceived interpretations of prophecy into doctrine.
There is no mention in the Bible of a 7-year Tribulation. Daniel only tells us that this final 7-year period will begin with the “strengthening of a covenant.” Mr. Obama made a covenant with the American people on January 21, 2009, when he was sworn into office. The word there for covenant can mean “pledge”. Did he not pledge, or swear, that he would faithfully execute the office of President? Is that not a covenant with the American people, and in some sense, a covenant to the world, to be the leader of the most powerful nation in the world? Was this covenant not strengthened when he was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize? The covenant became stronger on that date, when the world looked to him to help usher in peace.
The date that this occurred was October 9, 2009. This was the 7th day of the Feast of Tabernacles. If you study the 7th day of Tabernacles, you will find out that this is the only day of the year when the Jewish people would cry out, “Blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord!” This was the day that they looked for their Messiah. Then they cried out to Jesus on the 10th of Nisan these same words, when He rode into Jerusalem. Those that did this recognized that Jesus was their Messiah.
Now, we have a man named Barak, whose name means “blessed” riding in to Jerusalem on the 10th of Nisan, exactly 1260 days after he was chosen as the winner of the Nobel Peace Prize on the 7th day of Tabernacles. The two dates that are associated with Psalm 118:6 (blessed is He who comes in the Name of the Lord) are the 7th day of Tabernacles and the 10th of Nisan. Barak means blessed. He is trying to imitate Christ, the Prince of Peace. He won the Peace Prize on the 7th day of Tabernacles and now he is coming in to Jerusalem as a “peacemaker” on the 10th of Nisan. Who is he that comes in the "name of the Lord"? Blessed. Barak. He comes in the Lord's name, a false Christ, trying to be Christ.
Truly if you cannot see that this is the fulfillment of these Scriptures, then God Himself must be blinding you so that you cannot see it. He has made it so incredibly obvious. The signs are everywhere. We are now on the 8th plague with only 2 plagues left and Passover starting next week. Lightning just struck the Vatican twice on the day the Pope resigns, which both events are pretty much unheard of (a pope resigning and lightning striking the same place twice).
The time has come. We are in a 7-year timeline that represents the 7000-year plan of God. It was right around 3500 years after Creation that the Babylonian invasion of Israel took place and the first Temple was destroyed. The silver and gold in the temple were taken. The silver and gold of Jericho were put into the Lord’s treasury on the 7th day of Unleavened Bread. Haggai 2 says that the Lord told Haggai on the 7th day of Tabernacles (the mirror image of the 7th day of Unleavened Bread) that the silver and gold were HIS. Paul tells us in 2 Timothy 2 that we are the silver and gold. We are the third temple He is building, His body. He will take the silver and gold for Himself, the firstfruits, at the time of the first Rapture. The desolation involves Jerusalem being attacked, America’s downfall, and the Rapture of the Church.
We must realize where we are on the Lord’s calendar. He told us to watch. He did not make it so difficult that we could not understand. He wants us to know when His coming is at the door. It is at the door. The ark door is about to open and close. We need to be prepared to meet the Lord and share with others what is about to take place. The Church is sleeping. They have no idea what is coming. America is sleeping. We must wake them out of their slumber. We have only days left, not months.

I know this has a double fulfillment - that the gospel will be preached during the Tribulation, but it's amazing that this show comes out and the last episode is on Easter Sunday night in the States, the very time I have been pointing to as the time to watch, the start of the 7th day of Unleavened Bread in Israel. Up to 50 million people in the States have tuned in to watch this show. What another powerful confirmation that the Lord is about to come. In a sense, the Rapture does represent an "end" - an end to the way the world is right now. And let's not forget who the devil looks like in this movie - Mr. Obama himself.
