Aviv Search
Day 1

Today (March 11, 2013) we found two fields of Aviv Barley near Gama Junction in the Northern Negev. The first field was 6-row domesticated barley while the second was 2-row wild barley. Both fields had large quantities of Aviv Barley. I posted photos of the barley on Facebook at:

The next new moon will unequivocally be Chodesh Ha-Aviv - the New Moon of the Aviv. We will attempt to sight the moon Tuesday night and if it not visible it will be Wednesday night.
