    Perhaps, you're confused. The article posted there might be satire, but it was lifted from another publication. I can assure you of one thing; Free Republic.com is the hardest news site on the internet. Writers post stories from other publications, then posters open up the forum for comments and debate. You will be a better more well informed citizen for
going to FR.
    Conservatives have been gathering at FR since 1987. It's the most important site for conservatives on the internet. FR raises it's large budget from the contributions of it's members. Would members donate 400K annually to fund a satire website; No! I've been a member since 1988. It's done more for America than any other website you can name.
