"The Entering Of His Rest: The Shabbat As Rehearsal and Shadow Picture: Day 7"

Dear Doves,

The day 7 of each week since the Creation has been the Sabbath, the Shabbat, the Day of Rest. It was the Sabbath honored by Messiah/Christ every week of his life. The redeemed are promised to enter into His rest, of which the Shabbat is a special set apart day in time and in space. Each day 7 is a shadow picture of things to come, a rehearsal of coming times in the Eternal Kingdom.
The honoring of the Shabbat, the day 7 of rest, is so vitally important that it is number 4 of the Ten Statements, the Ten Commandments. After the Shabbats are the additional high Sabbaths, the 4 Shabbat Shabbataton. These are days during the Feast of Unleavened Bread and days during Succot (Tabernacles).
As significant as Purim is, the Shabbats in the month of Adar are more spiritually important. The momentous last days of the Spiritual Year for Israel are the Last Shabbat and the Last Day of Adar on Adar 29. The last Shabbat will be on 3-9 on Adar 27, 3 days before Adar 29 on 3-12. The Last Sabbath of the year will either precede Nisan 1 or be Nisan 1, month 1 and day 1 of the Spiritual Year for Israel.
The lessons of the Spiritual Year for Israel do not conclude with Purim. The Sabbath 4 is more important. What is the shadow picture of the righteous entering into His rest? Is it the Last Day Shabbat or Last Day of Adar 29? The rest is entered on a Shabbat. Will we, the bride of Messiah/Christ enter into His rest and cease from our labors and mortal lives with The Blessed Hope as the final annual Shabbat begins or ends? The Last Day Shabbat will be Shabbat ha-Hodesh. In addition to the Torah Portion, Exodus 12: 1-20 will be read. The subject? It is The First Passover and the 7 Days of Unleavened Bread. As the year and all the lessons learned nears its conclusion, Passover begins to be remembered and contemplated anew. Will the end of the Spiritual Year be the grand finale for the ecclesia, the congregation of faith in Abba Father and His now ever living Son? Our earthly lives conclude as we enter His rest on the final annual Day of Entering Into His Rest? May The Captain of Our Souls soon arrive!

With Love and Shalom,
Jean
