Wow, what a thought!

I never heard that before or thought of that before.

However, you mentioned something so chilling that I had to write back.

We've all heard about the antichrist being the false messiah, also about him at Armageddon,

         but you brought up that there may well be the antichrist & a false antichrist,

         as well as a false Armageddon,

         for the goal of super deception.

The false antichrist & the false Armageddon would cause millions to think that,

         the false antichrist was the actual antichrist,

         and thus ending up believing that the antichrist must therefore be the real messiah.

That is so chilling & makes so much sense.

What about when the dragon is cast out of heaven in Revelation 12:

         What about if it is not invisible?

         What if he doesn't crash to the ground or into the sea?

         What if he descends slowly upon the Mount of Olives in the eyes of the whole world?

I never considered the possibility that the Mahdi & the Islamic Jesus could pose as:

         the false antichrist & the false false-prophet?

So that there will be someone else pretending to be the real Elijah,

         and another pretending to be the real messiah,

         and that this pretend messiah defeats the false false-messiah & the false false-prophet at the false-Armageddon.

Suddenly, worldwide people flock to this false messiah to worship him as the real Christ, when he is actually the antichrist.

They will all think that the false antichrist was the real antichrist,

         and then believe everything that he and the false Elijah will tell them!

How deceiving would it be, to have the false Elijah & the false messiah, under the full power of the dragon,

         doing signs & wonders, and telling people things about themselves that no human being could know.

What if they reach out to people with a false-charity, where people believe that the false messiah,

         actually knows their thoughts & secrets, but loves them in spiritual way that they have never experienced before?

Could the dragon imitate a false spiritual charity?

One that reaches into the soul, with false joy & false ecstasy, and familiar spirits?

While hoards of evil spirits & fallen angels, either appearing as, or possessing people to appear as, resurrected loved ones?

What if the false Elijah mimics everything that the real Elijah did and is going to do?

What if the false messiah mimics everything that Jesus did and is going to do?

What if people believe that Armageddon is over, that the Tribulation is past, and that they are in the thousand year kingdom of Christ?

Can you imagine the effect it would have upon the lost as well as the lukewarm Christians that will be there then?

Can you imagine what it would be like to find out that maybe we didn't have all our eschatological ducks in a row?

What would we do if we found out the hard way, that the blessed hope comes after, and not before these things?

How many of us would feel that we had been deceived or had been deceivers ourselves?

Would people then turn upon us who have been teaching that they need not worry about ever having to face the full deception of the enemy?

I've never taught a post or mid trib rapture to anyone, but what if I've been wrong myself?

How would we feel if we found out that we too had been used as part of the grand deception?

Would we go out to weep & repent, or would we go out to hang ourselves?

Would we handle the shame like Peter did or like Judas did?

I hope to God that we have not been used to deceive anyone.
