"Behold... ! New Moon of Nisan... (if the barley is Aviv...)  ...with Comet..!!!"

BRIGHT COMET PAN-STARRS: Comet Pan-STARRS (C/2011 L4) is now inside the orbit of Mercury, brightening as it plunges toward the sun. Observers in the southern hemisphere report say they can see Pan-STARRS with the unaided eye in the evening sunset sky.

…..Several important dates are approaching. On March 5th, Comet Pan-STARRS makes its closest approach to Earth (1.09 AU), followed on March 10th by its closest approach to the sun (0.3 AU). As Comet Pan-STARRS passes the sun, solar glare will make it difficult to see even as the nucleus vaporizes and brightens. By March 12th and 13th, the comet will reappear in the sunset skies of the northern hemisphere not far from the crescent Moon;...

A Possible Naked-eye Comet in March  http://science.nasa.gov/science-news/science-at-nasa/2013/06feb_panstarrs/

The best dates to look may be March 12th and 13th when Pan-STARRS emerges in the western sunset sky not far from the crescent Moon. A comet and the Moon, together, framed by twilight-blue is a rare sight.  "My guess is that the primary feature visible to the naked eye will be the gaseous coma around the head of the comet,” says Knight. “The comet's tail will probably require binoculars or a small telescope."

Two other key dates are March 5th when the comet comes closest to Earth (about 100 million miles away) and March 10th, when the comet comes closest to the sun.  The dose of solar heating it receives just inside the orbit of Mercury could be just what the comet needs to push it into the realm of naked-eye visibility.

….Comet Pan-STARRS should not be confused with another, even better comet coming later this year.  In Nov. 2013, Comet ISON could shine as brightly as a full Moon in broad daylight when it passes through the atmosphere of the sun…

"Two bright comets in one year is a rare treat,"…

If the barley is Aviv by March 12 and the new moon is sighted on March 12, then
the Feast of Unleavened Bread
(Passover) will be from sunset March 26 through
sunset April 2.

If the barley is Aviv by March 12 and the new moon is NOT sighted on March 12,
then the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover) will be from sunset March 27
through sunset April 3….. http://groups.yahoo.com/group/karaite_korner_news/message/609

----------------------------------------------------------

The Aviv Team will be examining
barley all over the Land of Israel to determine whether it has reached the stage
in its ripening known in Scripture as Aviv. This is in accordance with the
commandment in Scripture: "Observe the Month of the Aviv" (Dt 16:1).

If the barley is Aviv by March 12, this will put the Feast of Unleavened Bread
(Passover) in late March and early April. If the barley is not Aviv by March 12,
the Feast of Unleavened Bread will fall out at the end of April and the
beginning of May.

A slight complication this year is the timing of the new moon at the end of the
12th Hebrew month. This is one of those "borderline" sightings that cannot be
predicted with any reliability. Specifically, the moon on March 12, 2013 will
have 0.90% illumination and 47 minutes lagtime. Visibility might be possible
although in my experience unlikely. This means there are three possible sets of
dates for the Feast of Unleavened Bread (Passover):

Look at this:

Next new moon expected on March 12 will be the
beginning of the new biblical year…( If the barley is Aviv by March 12  )

This time the crescent moon will be accompanied by a comet: …crescent Moon. A comet and the Moon, together, framed by twilight-blue is a rare sight.

A very rare event: surely a sign in the sky …

Luk 21:25 And there shall be signs in the sun, and in the moon, and in the stars;

Luk 21:28

And when these things begin to come to pass, then look up, and lift up your heads; for your redemption draweth nigh.
