The gate that is currently there is about 60 feet above the
origianal gate, see photos in link below
That is because the city was destroyed several times and
rebuilt on the rubble
So, I suppose one could go thru this gate for a show
Not sure if that needs to be done if one receives a mortal
head wound and comes back to life
So when Jesus returns and steps on Mt Moriah there will be
a huge earth quake
That is when the walls come tumbling down and the real gate
is exposed
That is what I think
The real gate was discovered by archeologist Dr James
Fleming
He ran the Biblical Gardens near Jerusalem for many years.
Arab graves fill the space in front of the entire length of the eastern wall.
This is the real Eastern gate under the present one
Notice the huge pile of bones, there is a Muslim
graveyard above it
The tried to defile it plus block it up
They do not want the real Messiah to walk thru this
gate
But you know that won't happen.
