Doves, I have written of the below ''prophetic profiles'' before. I have recently re-studied this amazing pattern that is seen in the scriptures.
The profile seems to be a pattern of Three events for each of the ''three feasts'', Passover, Pentecost, and Tabernacles (note the Fall festivals include Trumpets, Atonement and the FOT).
 
The pattern is this:
 
1) The first event is when Israel goes into Bondage.
2) The second event is when Israel comes out of Bondage.
3) The third event is the Final fulfillment of a Festival and involves Jesus, in whom culminates the Meaning of Each Feast. See this pattern below.
 
 
 
Passover:
 
1) Israel went into Bondage on Passover. This is the very day they entered Egypt.
2) Israel came out of Bondage on Passover. This is the very day they left Egypt. Note in Exodus at the time of the departure from Egypt, it says Israel ''left Egypt on the Very Self-same day they Entered.''
3) Passover is Finally fulfilled in Christ at the cross.
 
Pentecost:
 
1) Israel entered the Bondage to the Law on Pentecost in Exodus 20. Three thousand died.
2) Israel came out of Bondage to the Law on Pentecost in Acts 2. Three thousand were born again. Paul taught in Galatians that the Law engenders Bondage and the Spirit brings Freedom/ Life.
3) Israel and the Gentiles (the NT) church will be offered up to Jesus on Pentecost as the Final Fulfillment of Pentecost. The waving of the Two loaves on Pentecost pictures this final fulfillment. Note this event has Not yet happened.
 
Tabernacles:
1) Israel wandered in the desert of sin, the wilderness, in temporary tabernacles in bondage for 40 years as a result of the rebellion at Kadesh-barnea.
 
 THE Reason God gives as to 'what to tell your children as to why we keep the FOT and live in temporary tabernacles each year  is to teach that their fathers dwelt in tabernacles when they came out of Egypt and dwelt in the Wilderness. This is THE scriptural reason God gave as to why they yearly dwell in huts during the FOT.
2) Israel will come out of bondage to the world's system on a future Fall Festival that will inaugurate the start of the Millennium. This will be when Jesus returns to set up the Kingdom of God on earth. The Deliverer will come out of Zion to save Israel.
3) Israel and others will be Offered up to Jesus on the Last Great Day of the Feast, the 8th day, as the Final fulfillment of the Fall Festivals/Tabernacles. This will be after the 1000 year Millennium.
 Jesus alluded to this when He said on the Last Great Day of the Feast '' If any man thirsts, let him Come to ME''.
